3R is a 100 % French company, based in Montauban, in the heart of south-west France.

Founded in 1987, 3R originally specialized in the production of automatic unwinding machines used for precast factories.

Since the beginning of 1990, 3R has been making testing machines and identified right away with innovation, with the creation of a 3-column isostatic compression machine. This machine is, as of today, still one of the best on the market. Over the years, this small French company has been growing into a leader in the testing machine market for civil engineering.

Since 2004, 3R has entered the universal testing machines market, and produces a complete range of machines for material testing, such as metals, composites, plastics, … in fields  as diverse as aeronautics, automobile or higher education. 3R has since specialized in outsized machines.

Finally, 3 R has been producing, for a few years, didactic equipment for technical education.

Since June 2012, 3R has earned the OFG Label (France Origin Guarantee), delivered by Bureau Veritas
